Jeany was a truly unique woman who made everyone who met her feel welcome. She had a certain warmth about her that made it very difficult for anyone to dislike her. She was generous, kind, loving, empathetic and the kind of friend, mother, grandmother and wife anyone would be lucky to have in their lives. For us who knew Jeany well, we knew how special she was. She had a way of making the people close to her know they were loved and appreciated and she went far and beyond for those she treasured. She touched many hearts. She loved harder than anyone else. She was blessed with the most beautiful voice that made any opera lover in awe of her talent. She was truly beautiful, inside and out, with a heart of gold and a gorgeous smile. Wherever Jeany went, whether it was a top opera house in Germany, a seaside village in Tenerife, a hospital in Sweden or a upper class neighborhood in England, she left a lasting impression. We all have beautiful memories of Jeany and losing her to Alzheimer’s has left a huge hole in all our hearts. May Jeany forever watch over her loved ones and let us all keep the memories of her alive. We will come together and celebrate Jeany’s life in the church Stora Råby Kyrka in Lund on October 7th.
